We carry a mix of both. Some of our birds are hand-raised from a young age — they're comfortable with people, easy to handle, and bond quickly with their new owners. We also carry birds that are not hand-raised, which can be a wonderful choice for more experienced bird keepers. When you visit, we'll always be upfront about each bird's background and temperament so you can make the best choice for your home and experience level.
We carry over a dozen species including macaws, parrots, cockatiels, conures, lovebirds, canaries, budgies, finches, doves, cockatoos, parrotlets, and caiques. Availability changes regularly — call ahead or stop in!
Absolutely. Our owner loves helping first-timers. We'll walk you through which bird suits your lifestyle, what cage to get, what to feed them, how to handle them, and how to set up their space. Just come in and ask — we're always happy to help.
Our customers consistently tell us our prices are more reasonable than larger chains — and the birds are healthier and better socialized. Being a specialty bird store means we focus entirely on birds, so you get better quality and personal service.
We carry a full range of supplies — cages, stands, toys, perches, travel carriers, food, seeds, pellets, vitamins, supplements, baths, and feeders. Everything you need in one visit.
Yes! We're open Thursday through Sunday and Monday through Tuesday, 11 AM to 7 PM. We're closed on Wednesdays. No appointment needed — just come on in!
This place is a true haven for exotic bird lovers. The owner is incredibly patient — he spent 30 minutes explaining macaw care. Prices beat every big pet store I checked. Won't go anywhere else.
I've been coming here for years. Every bird is healthy, tame, and clearly well-loved. My cockatiel is the sweetest thing. The staff genuinely care about matching you with the right bird for your home.
As a first-time bird owner I was nervous, but the owner walked me through everything. My lovebirds are thriving. This is a neighborhood gem — I tell everyone about Royal Birds!
